About

The Digital Decision Makers (DDM) Council was launched in the summer of 2025, during a research program studying the emerging roles of Digital Workplace and Digital Experience managers. The more we connected the dots between emerging roles and the latest trends in technology adoption, the more realized we had stumbled on a megatrend.

Across industry verticals and corporate departments, legacy staff previously expected to adapt new technology into rigid workflows by way of Digital Transformation projects are now being replaced by digital natives who are more wired, more connected and more flexible. They care less about suites and stacks and ecosystems, and more about data, access and automation.

These digital-native decision-makers have an evolved mindset that frames how they select and master tools, how they integrate them into their workflow, and how they leverage them to more strategically approach business tasks and objectives. For these digital natives AI is not a solution; it's a tool to accelerate their pursuit of success.

As AI and agents take center stage in the next transformation of business, it is these Digital Decision Makers who will be forging successful use cases, as well as the ecosystem of cloud, data and device technology supports them.

These Digital Decision Makers are emerging across the enterprise. They work in every department, sometimes under legacy titles, but increasingly with a defined digital role. They are architects and practitioners, leaders and executives. What they lack is a shared identity, a shared language, and a shared space to better understand and develop their digital decision-making skills.

The Digital Decision Makers Council will fill that gap by bringing together market stakeholders together: architects and practitioners, thought leaders and executive sponsors, vendors and service providers. Engagement will begin with exploration: through a series of primary research studies and survey reports that will fuel dialog and debate.

We'll share insights, decision frameworks, and use cases for advanced technology adoption. We'll host round tables and special interest groups. By aligning stakeholders around emerging technologies and approaches for integration, we'll help businesses accelerate DX, we'll help grow the market for improved tool sets for Digital Decision Makers, adn we'll generate many opportunities for partnership and development.

Our first syndicated research program is focused on the emerging roles of Digital Workplace and Digital Experience managers in enterprise organizations, particularly with hybrid office and return to work trends maturing.
