DDM Meta: Publishing Great Content

The glue that ultimately binds Digital Decision Makers as a group—the common interest—is the facility for leveraging digital tools and data to achieve personal and professional objectives. DDMs aren’t just “good at technology”, they have an innate drive to use tools to improve their performance and their environment.

In different industries and different roles, the tools they use are different. But most Digital Decision Makers tend to approach tools in a similar way—the way they assess, consume, utilize and manage them. Exploring that fundamental approach to adopting and leveraging digital tools is the nucleus of DDM. It’s the source of all the content we’ll create. Surveys, reports, roundtables and at some point probably local and regional events.

In the beginning, everything will start with posts like this. Whether it’s updates on surveys, market analysis, or frameworks and models for decision making; whether it’s updates on council development, network opportunities, alliance and sponsor opportunities, it will be posted on the dash and tagged so it’s easy to find any thread and dig in.

Most of the content we publish will be hand made. Fingers on a keyboard, debating the use of commas. But we like AI, and we continue to find new ways to use it to generate great content. So the plan is to classify posts on a scale:

  • Human Generated: No AI
  • AI Assisted: AI outlines, researches, edits.
  • Human Assisted: Human ideates, directs, coaxes.
  • AI Generated: No Human

This post is Human Generated. The next series of posts will be Human Assisted, exploring the way Digital Decision Makers are changing the ways businesses adopt technology. AI Assisted posts will be most of the reference material we publish, including decision making frameworks, survey results and reports. AI Generated posts will be the result of agents we develop to produce intelligence and analyze industry signals.
